Well, after having no Pro Tools on my computer for 3 months (embarrassing!) i finally got it installed, and now i am looking forward to shredding relentlessly. my uncle Eddie died last weekend, so i have had a few drinks for the past few days. i have to get my tolerance back up for when Dan P. comes home for the holidays. i am also looking for big red leather beanbag chairs for the living room. they are very hard to find, and the ones i have found are terribly expensive. oh, and my car is still for sale. I dont think i've ever had the day off on Labor Day.

ive spent today pondering over the 2 papers i have to write by wednesday. i am enjoying my first day off in a week. started a new job, back to a familiar profession. dan powers, colleen, jessica, myself and anyone else who wants to join, have decided we are going to partake in a High Fidelity drinking game. i plan to reign SUPREME. oh, and ive been checking out Leopard. looks amazing, and expensive.

in recent news:
- about 2 minutes ago i saw and old woman almost swallow her microphone on The Price Is Right. "ill say WHAO WHOA WA WHA fifty."
- current additions to my car include: new timing belt, new mass air flow sensor, timing belt tensioner, engine cam and crank seal, turbo vacuum clamps, new left rear wheel bearing, 93 octane APR chip (added 40 hp), new combi valve hose and fuel pressure regulator hose, and installed a new K&N air filter.
- future modifications: APR exhaust, forged 007 diverter valve, Xtreme Neuspeed 1.8 Turbo Intake hose, new windshield, tinted rear side and rear windows, paint job to fix the scratches, euro license plate to cover the holes in my front bumper ( i had a dream about this last night). any ideas what the plate should say? it can say whatever i want, 9 characters. help me out.
unfortunatly this is my hobby now. i will be talking about it for some time. sorry in advance.
- going to florida in 2 weeks for my cousins wedding. 6 days in FL. finally my vacation is coming.

I fell like someone just shit on my face. i just spent 2000 dollars fixing my car on monday, and today my fucking check engine light came on again. what fucking else is there to do? i got a credit card just to fix what was wrong added a little bonus for myself, now im in debt and its still not fixed. im thinking its the brake booster, which would really fucking suck. my car is fast now, and nothing seems wrong but that goddamn light is back and im just incredulous.
fuck. please help me get some clarity and vision. or at least a little sympathy.

ive really put myself in another position where i am worriying about money. dont you hate when that happens. i still have one job but unfortunately i quit little caesars because they wanted to take a dollar off my wage because i forgot to prep some subs. unfuckingbelievable. i dont even want to entertain the ideas of what i might have to do if i dont start making more money at applebees. i would like to more with some of my passions to make money, but that is always a grasping at straws thing for me. i wish i could record some things and make a little money that way. im just used to having multiple incomes. maybe i should try getting a cook job somewhere. maybe jimmy johns. i want to work my way up at applebees, and i can, it will just take time. things arent completely dim though. dawn can break night and make it day, right. here's to actually using my livejournal for a journal type purpose.

im at the studio recording/mixing/mastering a live performance for ken. this is taking forever and he should be paying me. we'll see about that. ill try to work something out with him. anyway, im really sick too. so im forced to sit here and listen to this band, and im forced to eat ice cream while i do it. i just need to sleep. i just took some tylenol cold, (thanks for the tip). i hope it works. once this shit is over im going home, eating chinese leftovers and crashing.

im waiting to do my final project at recording school. nerve-racking. and im still bumming that i didnt get to go to the hockey game. i had an excellent consollation, though. the best spinach pie ive ever had in greek town. we had fun. what a weekend. maybe next weekend i wont lose 100 dollars worth of tickets. but i am getting queens of the stone age tix. (insert phantom boner here).
im still looking for a job in a recording studio now that im all done with school. al, i'd love to work with you some time. just putting that out there.

being in florida is nice again. time to over indulge myself in the hot hot hottub. now i can finally wash my snow-laden fucking jeans that i wore on the way to the airport in the blizzard of misery. and thats right, i did say FUCKING jeans, know what i mean. for the rest of the day i will get tan, drive my dad's pimped out ride (as XHIBIT or who ever the fuck would put it), and eat twice baked potatos. i think this is the first time in 30 years that detroit has been white. have fun in the snow fuckers!

i have taken a big chance and rented an apartment in detroit. i move in on september 10th and i think i am "excited". who knows how it will turn out but its time i leave my aunts house. i have been here for over a year, and i very grateful for her hospitality. decorating and arranging my own little domacile will be a great source of pride and entertainment. i will also enjoy being alone a lot more. my girlfriend is moving into the same building one week before i do. this will also save driving time and money. things can move forward now, but only if i really try. visitors will be rare, but welcomed. thank you.

im growing the mustache out for cinco de mustache. and for the next year. i might buzz all my hair off. i got another raise at work. i just drove 24 hours to new york city and back. i came back early from my vacation. i saw iceland for 23 hours. it was pretty but i wouldnt've had fun. london was fantastic. i bought a sweet digital camera and im gonna get an apartment for a year and buy a house next summer. the last 2 weeks have been a waste with the exception of a few people, the pistons, and a few more guinness.
oh yeah, 100 cds were stolen out of my car. 400 dollars for a new back windshield. if anyone will help me burn cd's, i bought a shit load of cdrs.
